Mohanlal's much hyped thriller 'Kandahaar' which got into theatres last week is reported to be a bad earner at the box Office. The movie directed by Major Ravi which opened in around 90 centers in the state was reduced to 66 centers on the second day itself. The movie even failed to get the patronage of the big fans of Mohanlal.
‘Kandahaar’ largely settles on the story of the character played by Ganesh Venkatraman in the first half and is largely felt as a revamp of the Major's first big hit 'Keerthichakra'. The movie has a lot of dialogues in Hindi and this lack of Malayalam dialogues, which was also one of the reasons for failure of Major's ‘Mission 90 days’.
