 The sequel mania in Malayalam film industry is getting unceasing. Almost any film of the recent past which was a decent hit at the box office is taken up for a sequel.
The latest to be picked is the 1993 hit 'Meleparambil Aanveedu' would soon have sequel to it. It is a hit romantic comedy directed by Rajasenan and starring Jayaram and Shobana in the lead. The sequel will also be produced by Mani C Kappan and directed by Rajasenan. The producer and director say that almost all the stars from the original film including Jayaram and Shobana. However industry sources feel Shobana may not be there in the sequel which will go on the floors in February next year. |
