The talented beauty proved her skills in movies like ‘Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai’ and ‘Gadar-Ek Prem Katha’. Then recently the actress turned her interests towards producing films. Ameesha Patel some days ago held a gala launch party of her banner Ameesha Patel Productions where her near and dear ones of the industry showed their presence. Ameesha launched the production house in association with her good friend Kunal Goomer.
The actress-turned-producer was in search of a director for her debut production and now it is heard that she has finally got her man. And guess who is it? The comedy king David Dhawan!
Grapevines have it that the noted filmmaker will helm the first project under Ameesha’s banner. While nothing much is known about the film, sources believe that it would be a comedy, going by Dhawan’s typical trade mark genre.
Incidentally Ameesha had worked in David’s 2002 movie ‘Yeh Hai Jalwa’.
